Who We Are
Welcome to the Home of the 2nd Jäger Battalion (reenacted). We are the premier Finnish Army WWII reenacting organization in the United States and have members in many states. We, as living historians, interpret the
history at both public shows and tacticals and, as a sign of respect to
the men who gave their lives in the uniforms we wear, maintain the
highest level of authenticity possible in both uniforms and weaponry.
Our Unit impression is that of a light infantry unit, a Jäger Battalion which was part of the Lagus Armored Division, circa 1944. This unit fought in the last and greatest battle in Scandinavian history, that of Tali-Ihantala and was instrumental in slowing and eventually stopping the Russian onslaught that summer.

The 2nd Jäger Battalion is a multi-regional unit and we have several commands handling different areas of the US. If you are interested in becoming a member or getting information for joining, please contact the unit leader closest to your location. Each unit plans it's own events though we have combined events bringing all the 2nd Jäger entities together whenever we can.
